Your photos are processed on your device. We cannot remotely access your photos or rolls.
Scope
This policy covers the HALOVIA iOS app provided by Zhengji Ma and this privacy and support website. Effective and last updated: October 4, 2026.
On-device data
HALOVIA captures and processes photos on your device. Finished images, roll information, capture dates, camera progress, and related settings are stored locally. Captions and presentation copies are also processed on your device; some preview and export files are cached. HALOVIA does not automatically upload photos to developer servers, and the developer cannot remotely access your photos or rolls.
Permissions
Camera access is used for the viewfinder and taking photos. Add-only Photos access is used to save images when you choose Save; it is not used to browse or read your existing photo library. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling camera access prevents photography; disabling add-only Photos access prevents saving to Photos. HALOVIA does not request location, contacts, or microphone access.
Collection and sharing
The current version requires no account or sign-in and includes no ads, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not send app usage records or device identifiers to the developer. Photography and film processing work offline. When you use the system share sheet, the selected photo or presentation copy is passed to the app or service you choose, and its privacy policy governs subsequent processing. Date stamps and captions are included when enabled.
Retention and deletion
Rolls and photos remain on your device for your use. In FILM CASE, touch and hold a roll, choose Delete Roll, and confirm to remove that roll and its photos from the app. Copies exported to Photos or other services must be deleted separately in those locations. Local caches may be removed during cleanup. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local device data. Save important photos first. iOS device backups, iCloud Backup, and iCloud Photos may retain or sync data according to your system settings. Apple manages these services; HALOVIA does not operate a cloud storage service.
Support and privacy requests
When you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any descriptions, screenshots, or attachments you choose to send, solely to communicate and handle support or privacy requests. Private photos are not required; send only what is necessary to explain the issue. Our email provider processes correspondence. We retain it for as long as needed to resolve the matter, then delete it or retain it as required by applicable law. To request access, correction, or deletion of support information you provided, contact mazhj180@163.com.
This website
This website contains no analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies added by us. The hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information, and access logs to deliver pages, protect the service, and troubleshoot failures. These records are separate from your in-app photos and rolls.
Children
HALOVIA does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through support email so we can handle a deletion request.
Updates
We will update this policy and its date when features or data practices change. For changes requiring consent, we will explain the processing and obtain consent before it occurs. For privacy questions, contact the developer, Zhengji Ma, at mazhj180@163.com.
